The Chicagoland Area Ministers Fellowship of the Church of God aka CAMF is a religious organization that is a part of the Church of God Reformation Movement affiliated with Anderson, Indiana and with National Association of the Church of God, West Middlesex, Pennsylvania.
Our Purpose. Chicagoland Area Ministers Fellowship of the Church of God (CAMF) is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Our Vision Statement. Chicagoland Area Ministers Fellowship of the Church of God is a community of God's people consisting of Church of God congregations and other Protestant congregations committed to live holy and in unity and reconciliation with one another. We extend the gospel to all mankind…thereby making disciples for Christ.
Our Mission Statement. To represent God in the Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana Area by the proclamation of the Word. To be servant leaders supporting churches, pastors, ministers and laity in their call as agents who reconcile the world to Christ by the Holy Spirit.
Our Biblical Mandate. “Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the HOLY GHOST, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”---Matt 28:19-20a
We, the Chicagoland Area Ministers Fellowship of the Church of God perceive of ourselves as a community of God’s people, a peopled called to serve Him and called to live together in true Christian Community, open and teachable and dedicated to the lordship of Christ and also in responsibility for each other. We are committed to God’s church on mission as being God’s agent for establishing His Kingdom and that it is the primary means by which He is accomplishing His reconciling purpose in the world. This commitment requires a dedication to be a unified community working together toward the fulfillment of Christ’s Mission.
Our Goals Statement. We perceive of ourselves as God’s representatives in this metropolitan area and to be on a holy errand for Christ; a totally evangelistic urban fellowship of believers; open to everyone who is blood-washed. We have committed ourselves to the implications of this vision of God’s Church and have accepted the mandate of discipleship governed by the Holy Spirit and focused in the love of Christ. We have dedicated ourselves to the exaltation of God our Father, through advancing His Kingdom through a lifestyle of servant hood and to present the world a holistic ministry of reconciliation.
